2001 CIVIC STRUT AND SWAY BAR?

I HAVE A 2001 CIVIC COUPE EX. I AM GETTING A BODY KIT INSTALLED AND ALSO INSTALLING EIBACH SPORTLINE SPRINGS (LOWERING THE CAR)..I HAVE BEEN LOOKING INTO GETTING SWAY BARS AND STRUT BARS BUT IM UNSURE WHAT TO GET..DO I NEED BOTH OF EACH? ok so you really sound like you know what your talking about. good mechanics are an asset to this country.

well now you got me scared. ok i bought this car and the rear sway bar was already detached but not removed they just kinda detached it and rotated it up and out of the way and secured it with tie straps. as far as handeling this thing can take a curve at 100mph but when it rains it does kinda swerve a little. im pretty sure the entire rearend of this car is not stock. does the sway bar conflict with any type of differential or rear suspension?

Is a rear strut bar and a rear sway bar were the same thing? If not, what’s the difference? Also, if I were to pick one, would you get the front or rear, or would that not make sense? Also, what’s the difference in “stiffness settings”? Big difference or no? I drive fast and hard but I’m not a racer.

TIE-RODS??? SWAY BAR?

I just had a state inspection done on my ‘05 dodge dakota 4×4. They failed it due to tie-rod play and both sway bars and bushings/ links needs to be replaced and leaking transmission lines. But i’m suspect cuz the steering feels fine, no tire wear, and there is nothing on the ground from anything leaking. And I only have 50,000 miles on it! Any advice? Should I get a second opinion? They quoted me about a $1300 job
