Does lowering my 1995 Z28 really improve the handling?
I’m thinking about installing Strano 1.2″ lowering springs along with a set of Koni’s. Is there significant handling improvement from lowering?

I have had the struts, mounts, springs, hub assembly and inner and outer tie rod ends changed on both sides of my car and have had several alignments, but the handling is still very sloppy. As soon as I let go of the steering wheel the car pulls very hard to the right and even wanders over the road on smooth dry pavement. The mechanic said the control arms, ball joints and all of their components are fine. I wonder if the sway bar links are bad. Any ideas?
Onboard footage From the 2009 running of TOTB, 3 of my 5 runs on the handling circuit, best time of 40.5secs, good enough for 7th overall. And last run of the day on the 1/4 mile, best time on the day was 10.44@133mph, this run not so good off the line due to the rain, time unknown. Spec: Scoobyclinic 2.3 forged engine, standard sti 8 heads, gt30r turbo, ppg gearbox, e85 pump fuel, Hotbits DT2 coilover suspension.

WATCH IN FULL SCREEN ONLY!!!! For high performance handling, you should upgrade the springs, shocks, wheels, tires, brakes, camber kits, and front/rear sway bars. Increased handling will result in a better ride, more reliable acceleration, faster turns, and faster braking. It will seem like the car is on train rails. To maximize performance, add racing seats and harnesses. At 1:11 it’s the tie bar, not sway bar.

A lot of people claim that their cars handle better after installing a bigger sway bar. But is this subjective? Are they really going faster or do they just “think” they’re going faster because their rear end comes out easier. Would there be real performance gains such as increased lateral g, faster slalom, and/or faster lap times?

I just recently purchased a 2005 Honda Accord EX V6 coupe with the 6 speed manual tranny and Navigation system. I am well aware that this car is no sports car and it is not my goal to turn it into one. While this car has decent power, it could really use some better handling. This is where I need your help. I pretty much have a list of items I want, but need feedback on what the best brands for each are. If you have any personal experience with a certain brand please tell me how you like/dislike it… Thank you in advance..
Here is my list:
Springs- Don’t want any more than a 1.5″ drop
Shocks
Anti Roll Bars aka sway/stabalizer bar (front and rear) want polyurethane bushings
Camber Kit or Bolts
Big Brake Kit for Front and Rear
Wheels- Either 17″s or possibly 18″s, must be lightweight, preferable black with chrome lip.
Tires- want highest performance summer tire that is also good off the track as a daily driver tire.
Any other items anyone would suggest?
To Nick: If you read this, where can I find a Tien suspension for my car? Every site i look at only has it for the accord up to 01 or 03? Also how much do your rims weigh?
I know it improves less tire wear but does it also improve handling? I have a 90 crx and i’m trying to make it handle like a dream. I already got it lowering springs, shocks, front and rear strut bars, front and rear sway bars. other than a roll cage does the camber kit work? I have no tire wear so is it pointless? what else can i get?
