I have mustang 97 convertible. I m looking for lowering springs, and everything that I find, says: it will fit all mustangs EXCEPT convertibles. WHY? What exactly is the difference between convertible and coupe– they seem to be the same, except for the top, of course. Just was wondering…

All original Socal car, full mechanical resto, Universal air suspension at all 4 corners, Dakota Digital Controller with RF remote, 800 watt Zapco powered Stereo. I’ve owned the car for over 10 years and it gets driven 2-3 times a week.
