Could i have ruined my new sway bar end links by adding too much grease to them?
I just put new sway bar end links on my truck and they are the “ball joint looking type” with greaseable zerks.I installed them and filled them with grease,now my truck is making a popping noise everytime i hit a bump.Sound is coming from both sides of the vehicle.
I checked 4 times and everything is tight.I really belive its coming from the new sway bar end links.After reading the instructions i wasnt suppose to put any grease in the links at all because they came pre-greased.
Could i have ruined them?

Not likely – too much grease will generally just be pushed out of the joint.
