Car front-end ‘clunks’ as it goes over a bump- sway bar or somthing else?

At my car’s last check-up the mechanic noted the following in the “keep an eye on it for the future” section.

1) Sway bar link rubbers need replacing
2) Front caster rod bushes need replacing
3) Fluid leaking from rocker covers
4) Steering rack leaking oil

I was told it wasn’t urgent, but now (about 3 months later) I notice my car clunks and thuds whenever I go over a bump or pothole, etc.

From some of the answers here it seems the sway bar is the most likely culprit. My questions would be

a) Sway bar link rubbers, not the sway bar itself…would that be enough to cause the problem?

b) Could any, or all, of (2)-(4) also cause this problem?

Cheers

It sounds like your mechanic gave you a real fair summary of
    your car.

I would take it back to them and ask them now what needs
    the most immediate attention.

    Good luck to you..

From what I can understand using North American Standard Automotive Language (NASAL, just made that up but I wish there was one) the stabilizer (you say sway bar, but that is not what it does) links are your main problem. Without year, make and model, just fix the STABILIZER links.
